COMPRESSED AIR LEAK DETECTION SERVICE AT XUONG GIANG PAPER MILL
In November 2023, Osumi Vietnam conducted the compressed air leak detection service at Xuong Giang Paper Mill, Bac Giang province.
The service includes checking the leak rate of the compressed air system and detecting the locations of leaks on the compressed air system.
In addition to practical inspections, Osumi presented with the factory to clarify how compressed air leaks cause losses and how to check and rectify this phenomenon.
Two months later, in January 2024, Osumi Vietnam conducted an efficiency check on the implemented measures. The results showed that thanks to rectifying compressed air leaks and implementing simple energy-saving measures such as shutting off compressed air valves when not in use…, the factory saved an average of 16% electricity consumption per product unit, a significant saving.
To achieve these savings, swift leadership direction from the factory management and the technical team’s prompt action was crucial.
Checking and rectifying compressed air leaks and reducing compressed air misuse are two simple, cost-effective solutions that yield the most significant energy-saving results for compressed air systems. Before considering installing variable frequency drives or adopting new technologies, focus on reducing unnecessary losses in your system.
