Tiếng ViệtWith the mission of strengthening business connections, expanding investment opportunities, and promoting trade cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, on March 10, the Yokohama Urban Solution Alliance (YUSA), in collaboration with the Da Nang Young Business Association (YBA Da Nang), organized the YUSA Yokohama – YBA Danang Business Matching program.
The event attracted more than 20 enterprises participating both in person and online from the two countries, creating a dynamic, effective, and opportunity-rich networking platform for the Vietnam–Japan business community.
Presence of Distinguished Representatives
The program was honored by the presence of Mr. Yasuaki Nakamura, Director of the Global Network Promotion Division, International Affairs Bureau of Yokohama City.
Representing YUSA, Mr. Yuta Honobe, Director of YUSA Office in Vietnam, directly participated and played a key role in coordinating and facilitating the networking activities throughout the program.
From YBA Da Nang, the event was attended by Vice Presidents of the Association along with representatives of the International Trade Committee.
Expanding Multi-Sector Collaboration Opportunities
During the program, enterprises from both sides actively shared, introduced, and engaged in in-depth discussions across several key sectors, including:
- Environmental technology, particularly wastewater treatment
- Green infrastructure development
- Energy
- Artificial intelligence (AI) solutions such as autonomous buses and surveillance camera systems
These exchanges not only opened up concrete cooperation opportunities but also laid a solid foundation for long-term partnerships between Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises.
Notably, solutions related to green infrastructure, autonomous buses, and surveillance systems received strong interest from YBA Da Nang member companies, with a clear orientation toward future collaboration and implementation in the Vietnamese market, particularly in the Central region.
A Strategic Milestone in YUSA – YBA Da Nang Partnership
A key highlight of the program was the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between YUSA and YBA Da Nang.
This event marks an important milestone in the partnership between the two organizations, building upon a strong and sustainable foundation established through years of collaboration and business networking initiatives.
Towards Practical and Sustainable Connectivity
The Business Matching program concluded in an open, positive atmosphere filled with expectations for new cooperation opportunities.
Through this partnership milestone, YUSA continues to affirm its role as a strategic bridge in fostering international collaboration. At the same time, YUSA and YBA Da Nang will jointly develop practical connection activities, contributing to enhancing economic cooperation between Da Nang enterprises and Japan in a deeper, more sustainable, and long-term manner.
