On July 4, 2025, a business matching event between the Young Business Association of Dong Nai (YBA Dong Nai) and the Yokohama Urban Solution Alliance (YUSA) took place successfully, leaving a strong impression on the journey of fostering technological cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.
With the participation of five member companies from YBA Dong Nai and six leading enterprises from Japan, the event served as a dynamic platform for meaningful and sustainable collaboration, paving the way for promising future partnerships.
Sharing Solutions – Advancing Sustainable Development
During the event, enterprises from both sides actively presented and exchanged advanced technological solutions, focusing on key areas such as:
- Energy efficiency
- Wastewater treatment
- Sludge and organic waste management
- IT & IoT applications in agriculture
- Green infrastructure development
These discussions not only introduced new approaches to modern technology but also laid the foundation for practical applications in Vietnam, especially in the context of the global shift towards sustainable development.
Towards Strategic and Long-Term Cooperation
In his remarks at the event, Mr. Dang Quoc Nghi – Chairman of YBA Dong Nai, emphasized:
“The Business Matching program marks an important first step toward sustainable partnerships, contributing to stronger economic ties between the two sides. As a strategic industrial hub in Southern Vietnam, Dong Nai holds great potential to adopt and implement advanced Japanese technologies.”
Sharing the same vision, Mr. Nakamura Yasuaki – Director of Global Network, International Affairs Bureau, City of Yokohama, added:
“I am deeply impressed by the first-ever Vietnam–Japan business matching event held in Dong Nai — a province with 33 industrial zones and a future international gateway with the upcoming Long Thanh International Airport. I firmly believe that Dong Nai will become a strategic bridge for innovation, technology transfer, and cultural exchange between our two nations.”
