On the morning of July 19, 2024, the “SUMMER IT DAY” seminar was successfully held in Da Nang. The seminar was organized by YUSA Yokohama – YBA Da Nang with the aim of fostering business connections in the field of information technology.
The event was attended by over 60 delegates, including the Consul General of Japan in Da Nang, Mr. Mori Takero; Mr. Honobe Yuta – Representative of YUSA Yokohama; Ms. Rie Kimura – Representative of YUSA Yokohama; Mr. Yoshiharu Yoneda – Representative of YUSA Yokohama in Da Nang and General Director of OSUMI VIETNAM Co., Ltd.; Mr. Le Hoang Phuc – Director of the Research and Training Center for Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence; Mr. Le Tri Hai – Chairman of YBA Da Nang, along with representatives from Japanese and Da Nang-based businesses.
The seminar aimed to promote the exchange and sharing of knowledge, address current challenges, and explore new trends in the IT sector, as well as to foster business connections between companies from Yokohama and Da Nang.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Hoang Phuc stated, “High-quality human resources are one of the key factors that businesses prioritize in their investment strategies. Therefore, Da Nang is enhancing the training of high-quality human resources. Recently, we organized a training program for semiconductor and microchip instructors for universities in the city.” Da Nang is also implementing various policies to attract strong, reputable investors and is increasing investment in high-tech fields, including microchips and semiconductors.
During the 4-hour seminar, representatives from Japanese companies (DCTA Inc., Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd, Zeroboard) and Vietnamese companies (RIKKEISOFT CORPORATION, TOMOSIA Co., Ltd.) presented their business solutions, potentials, and advantages. The businesses from both sides engaged in lively discussions and exchanges during the program.
This IT connection session between YBA Da Nang and YUSA Yokohama is expected to be a significant step forward, paving the way for further collaboration between IT companies from both countries, creating more opportunities for cooperation and development in the future.
